Chicago Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to experience Sunda’s signature take on modern Southeast Asian cuisine, and this year, we’re celebrating with a thoughtfully curated three-course dinner menu that showcases guest favorites and standout flavors from across the region.

From January 24 through February 9, guests are invited to enjoy a three-course Restaurant Week dinner for $60 per person (excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity) at Sunda New Asian.

A Curated Three-Course Experience

Our Chicago Restaurant Week menu highlights the balance, depth, and vibrancy that define Sunda’s kitchen. Bringing together bold flavors, elevated ingredients, and refined techniques.

Course One | Choose One

Begin your experience with a first course designed to awaken the palate.

  • Crispy Brussels Sprouts
    Brussels sprouts, red cabbage, red onion, carrots, chilis, shallot crisps, minced shrimp, nuoc cham vinaigrette

  • Oxtail Pot Stickers
    Braised oxtail, caramelized onion jus, white wasabi cream

Course Two | Choose One

The second course offers a choice between bright, citrus-driven seafood or a comforting, plant-forward sushi roll.

  • Yuzu Tuna
    Maguro, yuzu miso, black garlic teriyaki, arugula, radish, puffed rice, sea salt

  • Sweet Potato Caterpillar Roll (GF, Veg)
    Roasted sweet potato, Asian pear, avocado, black garlic teriyaki, red pepper purée, sesame

Course Three | Choose One

Finish with a main course that reflects the soul of Southeast Asian cuisine: layered, balanced, and deeply satisfying.

  • Chicken Inasal (GF)
    Lemongrass, tomatoes, red onion, watercress, achiote glaze, chili-lime vinaigrette, grilled lemon

  • Hainanese Salmon
    Ginger-scallion relish, bok choy, toasted garlic soy

  • Chap Chae (GF, Veg)
    Sweet potato noodles, spinach, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, scallions, tofu, sesame
