Sunda New Asian — Downtown Detroit: The latest location of restaurateur Billy Dec’s Sunda New Asian will open Feb. 23. We'll find it that walkable strip of restaurants and shops between the Fox Theatre and Little Caesars Headquarters on Woodward across from Comerica Park. A Filipino-American television personality from Chicago, Dec’s award-winning restaurant will serve modern Asian cuisine from Japan, China and other southeast Asian countries. Currently there are Sunda New Asian locations in Chicago, Nashville and Tampa. The Detroit location spans 6,000-square-feet and seats more than 200 people.
