⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing experience at Sunda. I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon after work while traveling, and from the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere. The music, the energy, and the overall vibe of the restaurant immediately stood out. A huge part of what made the experience so special was Alexis Masingili, the Operations Manager. She greeted me right away, made sure I was seated quickly at a great spot at the bar, and personally told the team to take care of me and they absolutely did. Her hospitality set the tone for the entire visit. The food was excellent. I ordered the pork and chicken bao buns, along with the steak lollipops, and everything was amazing. I also had two great drinks from the bar, and the bar staff was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my visit. Even the people around me at the bar added to the experience. The entire environment felt welcoming, lively, and well-run. I will definitely be back, and that is a direct result of the way Alexis and the team took care of me. Highly recommend Sunda 10/10 experience.

This is our new favorite Detroit place! The vibe, food, and service were TOP NOTCH! Our server Jordan was beyond amazing on all aspects, including making perfect recommendations from the menu! Can’t wait to go back!

Truly a wonderful experience for my birthday. Food and service were phenomenal. Patrick our server was amazing, funny and so kind! It is refreshing to have a restaurant of this caliber in the area!! Obsessed with the steamed buns, so flavorful and juicy, I would highly recommend. The food overall was delicious and very unique options. Loved the ambiance and the service. Host were super kind. We came here for a birthday and got complimentary dessert! I would recommend!

Hands down the best Asian restaurant in the area. I am so glad we finally got a restaurant that offers high quality fresh seafood. Patrick was our waiter and let me tell you everything he recommended did not disappoint. Already planning my next visit!

Martell the sushi chef kicked off our dining experience with assisting us with the menu. This was our first time in this restaurant, and he made our dining experience very pleasurable. He assisted us with selecting what we wanted to eat, and was very helpful and on point what he suggested was a delight.

We had Ox Tail dumplings, edamame, pork belly buns, and pad thai. From ingredients, to service, to flavor, this was an exceptional dining experience! Our server was fantastic too! As were the hosts, expediters, and staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We had a wonderful dining experience.
