One of the newly opened restaurant at the District. Come and check it out. Great service and foods were top notched. Definitely will keep on coming back.

We were seated and Sebastian greeted us with cheer! He said, "We are going to have fun tonight! It is Friday after work on a long weekend, and your here and l am glad to be your server tonight." That set the tone and he made suggestions from the menu. We sampled alot of food and all of it was delicious. Everyone was attentive and we moved from a four seat table to a five seat table and the manager was gracious and all smiles to make sure the evening was special. Next time we will have to leave room for dessert! !

Great experience. First time flyer. Food was good and service was attentive. Maddie and Sebastian served us and Nolan did a wonderful job keeping the water filled and clearing the table. Definitely will be back.

Had an amazing family dinner here. The food was excellent, decor is beautiful, and our server Matt was incredibly kind and proactive in making sure we had everything we could possibly need. Scallop nigiri and the cauliflower appetizer were my menu highlights!

Had a wonderful experience on mother's day. Sunda offered a warm welcome upon arriving. The food was fantastic. Service and staff were all great. Tip: Use valet parking for anything on Columbia St.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Our waitress, Casey, was incredible — attentive, quick, and provided amazing service from start to finish. The food was unreal. This is definitely Detroit’s newest hot spot. My husband and I are huge foodies and dine all over Detroit, and we were beyond impressed. The atmosphere was perfect, with great music and an amazing vibe throughout the night. The toro and salmon nigiri literally melted in our mouths. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. Honestly, not a single complaint. We’ll absolutely be back ASAP.

I celebrated my birthday at Sunda New Asian, and the experience was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, everything felt thoughtfully prepared and genuinely welcoming. A huge thank you to Lexi, the manager, who went above and beyond to make the night feel special. You could tell she truly cared about every detail and made sure everything ran smoothly. And Devonte, our server, was absolutely outstanding—attentive, friendly, and perfectly in tune with the vibe of the evening. He made us feel taken care of without ever being intrusive, which is such a rare balance. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service made this birthday one I won’t forget. If you’re looking for a place that not only delivers amazing dishes but also makes you feel celebrated, Sunda New Asian is it. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was amazing and my bartender, Jessica, was incredible. The service was great and friendly and the food was out of sight. This was my second time coming in and I will be back again.

Had an excellent first time experience! Chris was a 10/10 bartender explaining the menu in full detail and the manager, Jonah, was kind enough to check in to make sure I was enjoying my experience. Will definitely be returning!

This place was hopping tonight and the staff was incredible. The food was awesome. They have really committed to service and it shows. 5 stars for sure!
