Germaine was hands-down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly personable and attentive. He has a natural charisma that made our entire dining experience so much more enjoyable. Not only was he funny and engaging, but he was also extremely quick on his feet and always one step ahead of anything we needed. His service was truly impeccable.Germaine is a huge asset to Sunda, and he is a big reason why we’ll be coming back. If anyone deserves recognition, it’s him.

What an amazing first experience I had here. Kayla did such a great job, bringing in a welcoming atmosphere, jokes and knew how to tend to our table. Gave amazing recommendations to us based on what we liked for us first timers. I would give 20 stars if I could! 100% would come again!

KAYLA WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SERVER/PERSON IN ALL OF TAMPA! On top of it the food is spectacular, the atmosphere is top notch and this spot is a 10.9 outa 10 every night! Highly recommend!

This place is outrageously delicious! I have been here twice now. While it does tend to get pricey I cannot complain as every bite is worth it. My tastebuds dance in happiness around the flavors from the oxtail potstickers, to the sticky rice. Aaron F was our waiter last time and he graced us with a dessert that was to die for. I can’t wait to get back because I am obsessed with Sunda! Great food, great drinks, great service!!

I was surprised to see quite a few Filipino dishes on the menu. Filipino food is a rare sight in trendy areas, and being half, I had to order several. They were all delicious and respected their namesake dishes. Sure, they're glammed up, Instagrammable versions of real Filipino dishes, but they still hit the right notes flavor and texture-wise so I can't complain. When they serve pancit with a fork and spoon, they know what they're doing. The staff were lovely and even gave us some bibingka to go at the end of our meal. We had no wait to be seated but we came in as soon as they opened on a Sunday and the place filled up by the time we left. I'll be back!

What an amazing experience! Aaron was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time while also making my friend’s birthday feel extra special. The food, service, and overall atmosphere were outstanding. This is hands down my favorite Asian restaurant in Tampa. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the Tampa area!

GNO this month brought us to Sunda in Midtown. Wonderful food, great service, and atmosphere. A little pricey but worth it!

Ryan is the best bartender. I have been coming to Sunda for the past two years largely because of the incredible hospitality and staff. Tampa has no shortage of great restaurants and bars, but I continuously find myself coming back because of the experience Ryan creates every single time I visit. His professionalism, energy, and ability to connect with people are a huge part of what makes Sunda such a standout destination. Dustin and Bryan deserve recognition as well for their outstanding hospitality and leadership. They are always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring guests have a great experience. Every time I bring my roommate, family, or friends to Sunda, they make us feel like valued regulars rather than just customers. Their positive attitudes, dedication to service, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment are evident in every interaction. Together, Dustin, Bryan, Ryan, and the entire team have built an experience that keeps me coming back time and time again. Sunda is fortunate to have a team that cares so deeply about its guests. The food is the best food in Tampa. A Michelin star is needed. However, our experience would be nothing without the amazing Aaron! If you ever go, ask for him. He will make your experience even better! :)

Tempura waffles was Amazing with walnuts, 🍓 , 🍌, blueberries and their homemade syrup. The Steak (Churrasco) and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection.
